Le Granade, Musée Collections, Saint Cyprien
I presented this exhibition at the Musée Collections de Saint Cyprien, a museum with an excellent collection of art from southern France and Catalonia. On this occasion, I had the pleasure of sharing it with Michel Primo, one of France’s most important collectors of antique ceramics.
With ‘Le Granade’ I want to revisit three moments in our Mediterranean history, focusing on the importance of women.
The three moments are the Neolithic, Ancient Greece and the Renaissance.
A journey that seeks, in some way, to reflect the decline of this importance: the Whole, Sensuality, Mourning.
On this journey, we are accompanied by the fruit of the pomegranate tree, the pomegranate, which is present in our culture. A symbol of death and resurrection, regeneration, sensuality, passion, creation, fertility…
From 15 February to 15 April 2025
